Coaching & peer support

“New ideas come out of reflection upon past experiences. They do not come from out of the sky. Nor do they come from just reacting to what the system or someone does to you. The process of reflection is as important as the experiences themselves because in the reflection lies the possibility of something new and original.”
– Grace Lee Boggs

Support to reflect, navigate challenges and build your capacity

Consumer Perspective Supervision (CPS) and peer reflection sessions are for the lived experience workforce and those supporting them. Supervision is informed by lived experience advocacy, practice and leadership, participatory design, and community engagement and development work.

What it covers

As part of these sessions with Morgan, you have access to the following:

  • Guidance and mentorship from 15+ years of personal and professional experience, drawing from training in Consumer Perspective Supervision (CPS), Intentional Peer Support (IPS) and systems thinking
  • A confidential and reflective space for advocates with lived experience, and those who support them, to be held with compassion, care and inclusivity and with an unapologetic socio-political lens
  • An opportunity to work through real practice scenarios that may be challenging or confronting and find ways to better hold and navigate complexity
  • A flexible and adaptive style where we focus on opportunities for critical, dialogic and integrative reflection that links practice to theory and vice-versa.

Inclusions

  • 1 hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hour sessions are available
  • Notes and resources are included with each session

She’s collaborative, respectful and gentle while bringing an unapologetic sociopolitical and socioeconomic lens to the work. Some of my most important learning curves and some of the most important innovations in my work have been influenced by Morgan’s approach. Her mind, her deeply considered thinking, and her curious and humble openness to learning with you are authentically powerful tools for holding a creative and progressive space from which to innovate and grow.”
